Auction Format
- Online bidding closes at 6:00 PM PST on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026.
- Following the close of online bidding, there will be one final call for bids LIVE during dinner at Ghost Tree Grill.
- Each team starts at a minimum bid of $50.
- Bids must increase in $5 increments.
- The highest bidder when the auction closes wins ownership of that team.
Buy-Back Option
- After the auction closes, teams have the option to purchase a 25% stake in themselves.
- The buy-back price is 25% of the final auction price.
- If a team exercises the buy-back, winnings are split 75% to the auction winner and 25% to the team.
- If a team does not buy back, the auction winner receives 100% of winnings.
- Buy-back fees are added to the total prize pot.
Scoring
- The Calcutta is based on rounds played on Friday, January 23rd and Saturday, January 24th.
- Winners are determined by a combined best ball score for the rounds on Friday and Saturday.
- Ties are broken by scorecard playoff.
Payouts
- 1st Gross: 35% of total pot
- 1st Net: 35% of total pot
- 2nd Gross: 15% of total pot
- 2nd Net: 15% of total pot
Note: Teams can only win gross OR net, not both.
Payment
- All payments are due to the Calcutta Treasurer (aka 1-Eye) by the start of the round on Friday, January 23rd.
- Payment methods: Cash or Venmo (@william-watson-40835)
- This includes auction winning bids and any buy-back fees.
